software upgrade for Itouch -downloading Closed

Hello,
I have purchased an Itouch 8G and already have itunes older version. I attempted to download the latest version of Itunes and also the 3.1 software upgrade.  I get nowhere doing this.  I restarted my computer,  I tried waiting for the Itunes to open so I could pay for the software upgrade.

hi there,

remove older version completely from your system

using uninstalling software,you will get it on link below:

https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4641-revo-uninstaller/

then download latest version of i tunes from official Apple website:

https://www.apple.com/itunes/
