Hello,
Been reading some of the stuff on here and just saying congrats for keeping it going. Nice one!

Also, I am having a problem with my PC.My rig is as follows

AMD 4000+ SKT939 (Single core)
ABIT KN8 SLI mobo
ZOTAC 8800GT (Slightly OC'd as standard from manufacturer)
1GB RAM
250GB WD sata HDD
405W Winpower PSU

My problem is this. Just got my 8800GT the other day, stuck it in and installed the latest drivers for it from zotac's website. Computer runs fine when watching movies, playing music and doing general tasks.
Then if I open COD4 or any game as a matter of fact, after 5 minutes of gameplay the computer switches off and I can reboot it fine straight after.
It done this a few times with my older card (7300GT) a few times but never again until now.

I checked all fans which were running fine, applied new heatsink compound (Arctic cooling MX-2) and cleaned out my case for good measure.

Unfortunately my problem still remains. The only other thing I can think of would be a bad PSU. I thought that maybe because the 8800GT is a very power hungry card, It was just pulling too much voltage and current for the PSU to cope and it just shuts itself down killing the power to my mobo.

The PSU is a very cheap one. Came with the case and this only cost £35 for case and PSU.

I have also attached links for pictures of my voltage and temp monitoring while idle and underload.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

i think that the psu is what you need and you had a good idea and fortunately its a cheap one because if it was expensive you wouldnt like to change it and thsi could fry your pc and so i would recommend you to get it change as soon as you can.

Thanks for that. I was just wanting to clarify my suspicions with other people. I have a new PSU en-route as we speak.
