Hello,
well im thinking about changing my dvd rom and putting one integrated with lightscribe can anyone tell me what the real purpose of lightscribe?
my brother told me that with lightscribe technology it uses monochromatic light to read special discs is it true?

LightScribe is a technology that lets you inscribe the non-data side of your LightScribe capable media (you can't use a regular CD-R or DVD-Rto etch with. Has to be lightscribe disks.). Once you burn the data to disk you flip the disk over in the drive and the LightScribe drive etches an image on the top of the disk.
