Virus penetration with no protection

Hello,
my other computer is infected and has no working virus protection to help
it is almost impossible to use with the popping up windows
and it says alot of the computers functions cannot take place
i cant even get online because sophos (the exizting demo protection that is out of date)
will not allow it to go to any site but the on to purchase their full version (which im trying to avoid)
any suggestions

If this is a windows computer I suggest you start over with a fresh install of Windows.

the better way to solve this problem is to use nod latest version which you or you can choose avg 8 new version
