I have an ACER Aspire 5000 laptop. It loads up to the windows xp log in screeen, goes to desk top, then automatically logs out, then back to desktop, then logs out, and it keeps doing this very rapidly. Have tried to reboot and F8 using all safe modes, and it does same thing. Also, when turned on, its asking for HDD password, which it has never done. I know password, but it takes me to the very same issues once signed in. I would also like to know how to get that HDD required password stopped. Tried F2 set up, but everything is grey and won't let me change.....very complicated!
