HP setup problem

Hello,

When I turn on my HP compaq nc6000 it goes into hp intro screen, stuck in F10 setup- no other options and cannot raise windows XP. It says non-system disk or disk error, replace and strike any key.. THERE IS NO DISK in it. Please tell me how to fix this setup problem.

I did try the holding down function and pressing F11, it didn't work, just comes back to the non-system disk screen
