Uploading picutres from LG versa to PC

Hello,
I plugged in my phone's USB cable to my computer, and the driver automatically installed, but I don't see any icons on my desktop nor does my computer recognize USB.

I am trying to upload the pictures I have on my phone to my PC. Currently, I have to use the "online album" option and first upload everything to the Verizon wireless account or Facebook; this methods seems tedious. Is there a way to upload pictures without going through the online option?
