Sandisk memory card

Hello,
I have been using a 4gb san dik SDHC card in my samsung camera. Today I took many photos/ video which I was able to view back through the camera. However when I put the card into my computer it did not detect any new images and when I put the card back into my camera it said 'no images'. If anyone has any ideas if/ hot I can recover the images I would really appreciate as I so don't want to lose them. Many thanks
