Pics from camera to computer

Hello,
I have a Kodak camera with a Sansdisk 2g card. It used to transfer pic either thru my printer slot or USB cord. NOw thru the printer I may get 5 out of 10 pics. Either way it usually tells me there are dupilicate pics and won't transfer. They are always brand new pics. This last week when using the USB cord, it will not transfer any pics off camera but throws out a pic that was taken months ago and is not on my camera anymore. Where its picking this pic up is beyond me. And it won't pull off the new pics. Help! So frustrating, the only way I can get them on computer is to go to Walmart and make a CD, then transfer.

The Kodak camera gives each picture a serial number. Are you resetting the camera so that it keeps starting with the same serial number for the pictures?
