This is perhaps a problem with your virtual memory and RAM stick. You should have it
upgraded through the below method:
Determining how much Ram memory and virtual memory you require

It's slow because of lot of installed softwares.. i suggest you to remove the unwanted or not frequently used software from ur PC.. then increase the virtual memory as dist.urbd said
