Hello,
I purchased a Linksys Wireless N home Router about a week ago. I have a dell desk top computer. I inserted the CD and started running through the set up process but didn't get very far. An Error message appeared saying
No Wired Adapter Detected:
If your computer has a wired network adapter (i.e. ethernet port) then follow these steps
1. Enable your wired network adapter
2. Click Retry to try installing your router again.
I am not sure what to do. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated! THANKS! :)

The server must be set up while connected by wire to the PC. (this adds an extra layer of security).
It sounds like the ethernet adapter in the desktop is not functional or is missing the driver. You might try the "search of new hardware" icon in Control Panel.
Good Luck
