Yes my friend you can use it a s a modem,provided you activate internet on the mobile and install pc suite,then connect it via usb cable.The pc suite can be downloaded from link below and settings for activating internet is given by network provider.:

hi there,

i know a program "joikuspot" you can use your phone as wireless modem by it but absence network password on basic version it avaible only premium
