Overclocking nt changed CPU temp

Hello,
I've ovrclckd my p4 ht 3.06G CPU to 3.22G. But it did nt change the cpu temps(20C min & 42C max) a bit provided that the cooling systems r unchanged(1 cpu stock cooler + 1 outward case fan). is the cpu realy ovrclkd?? or bios showing fake cpu clock speeds?..
