8 gb card not recognized by pc or camera Closed

Hello,
I have  a 8gb Dane Elec that I purchased in a two pack combo. I have used them for about 8 months.
Yesterday I took some pics, then attemted to open them in my pc, laptop and then another laptop, all of which
had been used to view them before. PC os is Xp, laptop os is vista, 2nd laptop os is 7. I then tried the card back in my Canon Rebel, same camera that I took the pics with. The card will not show up on anyof the computers nor will the camera recognize it. It says no card available. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

After having tested it on other computer and you still have a negative response,the memory card may be corrupted and is of no use,you will definitely have to purchase a new one,You can also check if there is any type of write protection on the memory adapter,if so remove t and try again.
