Hello,

i have a problem with my laptop. The BOOTMGR is missing. I've tried to follow other advice I have seen on google. So I insert a windows installation disc in. When it is about to start the rebooting, after having the files load, the blue screen pops up saying that Windows could not continue because it may harm the computer and that i have to restart my computer. So the process keeps repeating.

I dont know what to do. I have windows 7 installed in my computer, but I do not have a installation disc for it, only for windows xp.

Hi there,

You need the same windows version installation cd to get it replaced by making a system repair.

Thanks
