hello,
thats a bit surprising since you tell me taht you are computer literate and you tell me that you cannot install windows since it need a cd or cd rom but you should know that it is searching for a bootable media like a cd rom OR a floppy disk but not the two at the same time. in fact if you have a good windows bootable cd then this should be ok for you and you should be able to install windoas without any problem.
