Dell Vostro Latop with Vista

Hello,
My laptop keeps shutting itself down around 60% battery life. I have a gauge on the battery that has five lights. It shuts down around 60% battery life, which is 3 lights on the battery. I've chech power vista power managment and it is set to 5% critical level to shutdown not 60%. ANy ideas?

Dear Sir,

It might be that it is the battery that is messing up or the indiactor is not working correctly.
