newer version of msn messenger with vistaClosed

Hello,
Please can you help :-

I am having trouble dowloading the newer version of MSN Messenger...was using the old one fine.  Then had a prompt to download the newer verison...
When it starts the installing it gets to 57% on the application error reporting and hangs there for quite some time...
Have tried it several times with no luck.

Hi there,

You need to remove the older version from system,while uninstalling it from control panel is not been removed completely thus zapmessenger can be used for the task.Download and install it from link below:

http://ccm.net/download/download-3346-zapmessenger
