IPhone Internet Connection

Hello,

On my old iPhone, whenever I turned on Wi-Fi, I would always automatically connect immediately to my secure network. I only had to give my password on the first connection attempt. Now, with my new 3G iPhone, whenever I attempt to connect to the internet, I have to specify each time my network name and password. Is there a way for me to set up an automatic connection, without having to re-enter network name and password each time I log on?

Dear Sir,

This is actually a security system integrated on the phone and it is not advised to have it disabled.
