Laptop freezes when plug to the power AC

Hello,
Ive got the probz aswell, could someone plis help? Everytime hook on a AC power my hp laptop starts playing up, ie: the mouse is moving but nothing would open up and if it did, it just freeze while the mouse is still moving arround

This is a middle pin issue, you will find the laptop doesn't charge either but will power the unit, if the power is connected, the laptop will hang and use reserve resources, if you unplug it, the machines performance will dramatically increase.

replace your power adaptor and all will be fine, i have had the same issue.

thanks for the suggestion a_stew90. Replacing the adaptor worked for me as well.

I have had exactly the same problem. I have replaced the adaptor and still havent found a solution to my problem.
