Toshiba Media Test Failure..Will not load

Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S2426.
1. I get the Media Test Failure, check cable message in the boot screen
2. The computer gives me a "Launch Startup Repair", when I do this option, i run the test, but a message comes up saying "problem cannot be fixed automatically". When I finish, the screen goes to the loading screen, quickly flashes blue, and the computer restarts. I also have a "start windows automatically" option, but the same thin happens in the load screen.

this problem recently came up Feb 10. Help Would Greatly be appreciated.

Hi there,

Remove all attached devices like printer,scanner ,mass storage devices and start the system normally,whereas for the blue screen ,what is the message displayed on,please give more information.

I had nothing attached to the laptop. but the same thing happened. As for the blue screen, yes it has a message on it, but it flashes for a split second. Too fast to see anything written on it

Probably a hardware failure with the hard disk or motherboard. If a replacement hard drive doesn't fix it you will need to return the laptop to the manufacturer for servicing.

Hello,

I was using my Toshiba Satellite and it froze up. I turned it off and then back on and my mouse pad stopped working. My cursur will move and highlight an icon but will not follow the command when clicked. I tried the function key and f9 and nothing.

Hello,

My cursor is frozen, the touchpad does not work. I connected external mouse through USB port and it worked fine.

Any idea on how to solve it?

Hello! I have a Toshiba laptop that I've had for about 2 years. The cursor has recently became frozen or disappears altogether. I've tried using F5 and it does nothing. I've turned my laptop on and off and it still won't work. I downloaded an antivirus software to make sure there wasn't some sort of virus on my laptop preventing the mouse from working as well, and that still didn't fix it. I've discovered if I hold down the left click button and drag, the mouse will work, but that's the only time and it's extremely aggravating. Toshiba laptop shuts down instantly on start

Hello,
my toshiba laptop screen suddenly went blank,now everytime I try an turn it on it instantly shuts down within a second,i cant get into any kind of safety mode,as soon as I press the on switch the green light comes on and then it shuts down...please help
