Xp installtion

Hello,
i have the compaq presario v6000 laptop , when i buy my laptop there was the xp (home edition) then i want to install the xp (professional) there i was getting some error (there is no disk drives etc.,) is there any internal settings for new brand of laptops

Hi there,

Get in bios settings and disable sata/native mode ,save and exit then boot from your windows installation cd.
