Audio problem

Hello,
i have compaq presario v2000, there is some problem with the audio,sound is breaking i.e it is not continuous and some times it is being streched......I dont know what the cause for this is,,,,PLZ fix it ASAP.

Hi there,

Open run and type msconfig,then on general tab select normal startup and press on apply followed by ok and restart system.
