Font waaay too small

Hello,
I was trying to display a portion of my display on my Acer Aspire one that was cut off due to something with the resolution setting and in the process went into the font size under advanced and made it waaaaay to small to read to even change back. It is sooo small i cant make out any words at all. Is there a way to reset??

use "safe mode" to get a usable screen (F8 after the windows logo displays) and change the settings there.

Tried that and font was still too small to read. finally after opening and blindly changing settings in display options I got lucky and got it back to normal size. thanks for your response. do you know how i can get the contents below that is not visible, visible?
