Firmware issue

well, i've just moved into a new apt. and my mom gave me her old router. i went to the linksys site because i'd always heard the driver downloads were free (we no longer have disc). but when i try to run the setup, it says i have to pay... i was wondering if anyone knows of where or if i can get this for free. i ain't got no money.
