Hello,
I recently bought a kingston datatraveler 16gb G3, but for some reason the files that dont want to open. I have format and scanned for virusses and all seems well. When i try to open the files that i stored on the flash it gives me weird writing and an error message " Files can not open" or " Unprotected files"

Please help as i am very desperate.

This is what often happens with counterfeit flash drives. I suggest you return the drive for a refund.

Thanks, Xpc that is what i though was wrong i will most certainly return the flash.
