Cpu wont show up on tv screen..

Hello,
i have a compaq presario v6000 laptop and im trying to make it show up on my Lg, Lh30 series tv and a delxin cord. when i restart the computer it shows the start up on screen but as the computer loads its go's off tv screen and says no signal. what could the problem be? thx

You need to go to the Control Panel video settings and configure the second display screen (monitor). It might show up as Intel Display adapter.
