windows7 hdmiClosed

Question

Hello, i have windows 7 on a song vgn-fw290 laptop and also an hdmi port. I recently upgraded to windows 7 from vista (on which hdmi worked perfectly) and whenever i try to install any hdmi driver they either do nothing or say that the driver is only ment for vista.

so i was wondering what the problem could be?
no hdmi yet for windows 7?

You must install driver compatible to windows 7 and not for vista,you will get it on official Sony website,here is the link:

did that and it still says that it is a vista driver although i went to 7 ultimate 64 and downloaded from there
