WHen PC switch on - few seconds PC shut down

Hello,

Problems: WHen PC switch on - few seconds PC shut down
Computer System: Processor AThlon AMD 64x2, Motherboard ASUS, CPU Socket AM2
.....................
- Mother board change (ASUS AMD 2) but unable to solve.
-Power Supply Change/Tested ok.
- When cable from power supply ( ATX 12V) connected to Motherboard disconected.
CPU Fans running but no display.
- Impression: ?I suggested is't CPU problems? change CPU..its correct decession ?
Help needed. TQ

Hi,

does sound like a CPU problem. Did you build the PC yourself? You might want to check (if applies) that your fan is correctly placed on the CPU. There should be no gaps between the CPU and Fan. Also check that you applied the correct quantity of heat transfer paste between the CPU and Fan.
