Songs deleted from MP3 Player

Hello,
After transferring music to my MP3 Player, the next time I plug in the player to the computer, it automatically deletes all the songs I had previously transferred....what could be the problem....must be a setting somplace to change that - but where?

Hi there,

It may be infected by virus if plugged to other systems,format the device either from player setting option or by connecting to pc and right click on it and make format.
