sony walkman nwz-b142f problem Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, 



Good evening, I have my a sony walkman nwz-b142f, everytime I transfer song it hang up. my pc dont have mtp device so it is treated as generic usb only. One day it was so easy for me to transfer song but when I open it I only see "walkman" loading on the screen..and it cannot be dtected as portable device to any pc..

Please help me

Open 'Control Panel'
--> Open 'System and Maintenance'
Scroll down.
--> Find and Open 'Device Manager'
--> Find "Portable Devices", click '+' sign.
(You will see MTP with yellow '!' sign)
-->Right Click, select "Update Driver Software..."
-->select/click the option "Browse my computer for driver software"
-->select/click the option "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
-->(there should be 2 options here) select/click "USB mass storage driver"
-->click next.
That should do it :)

this is roy and i've solve the problem just follow the steps mentioned adove by amr omran for winxp sp3 thanx amr it really worked

Additional info:
If you cant get to step " (You will see MTP with yellow '!' sign) " then do this before first step described by  amr omran:
reset walkman (push little reset button), then connect it to usb port and hold the play/pause button for 5 seconds.
Then follow the steps ...
