Hello,
I am using Excel 2003
I have a spreadsheet that I need to filter all the amounts from a row and have only one stay only in one cloumn
I have made a calculated member using SASFM Add-in to bring carry-forward in and I want that value only on one year column- actual the next year- not all the years and analysis like budget column etc
Hope you can help...

You cannot "purely"filter the columns. You can hide the columns

I want to filter value out of columns- all but one or one can look at it as filter all but one value out of a row

Perhaps if you can provide a sample worksheet with some sample data in it and educate what is you expect to see once that filter is applied, You can put a file at some share site like https://authentification.site

See row A62
I would like value 34,308 to be filtered out on Columns B,C, D, E and G
I would like the value in F to stay
Thanks for your patience

I am sorry. I do not have the "SAS Financial Management Functions.xla" So on row 62 all I see is "#NAME?

Of course, well the same value is in all the columns in row 62 and I only want the value in Column F, row 62

Well from what I am getting is that you just want to hide certain columns. That you could do by right clicking on the column and choosing hide. However the issue in your sheet is the data in range a1:c14. So if you hide the column B, also b1:b14 will not be visible. If you still want to see it, only option that I see is that you have to copy what you want to see on a new sheet. Selective hiding off cells is not possible. You either hide/filter an entire row or an entire column.

Too bad- sounds simple- I just want to fliter out all the values in a row but one- sounds possible

Filtering out the rows is possible, but filtering out of column is not. For example it is possible to filter all rows 20-60. But it is not possible to filter out columns like C-F but still show some cells from C-F. Just as when you filter a row, every column in that row is gone. Same would be true for the column, every row in that column would be hidden
