Outgoing mail server SMTPClosed

Question

Hello,

I am in Shenzhen for business and am getting mail , but I cannot send any from my outlook 2007 , and nobody from the many people we asked knows the server name of of outgoing mail SMTP.
kindly provide us with usefull , am using emirates.net.ae as my incoming.

Hello Jam,

From what is common, incoming should be: pop.emirates.net.ae

and your outgoing should be smtp.emirates.net.ae

thanks for your prompt reply , in fact , I had the same issue in HK , but their I got the server name and it worked.
I tried the your recommendation , but it failed as well.

You can send and receive e-mail messages by using your Google Gmail e-mail account and Outlook 

Gmail uses POP3 and port number 995 and Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)  port number 465.


and the in incomming mail it should be pop.gmail.com & outgoing mail should be  smtp.gmail.com  and outgoing port number is 995 & incommingport number is 465

try you'll get it if not just try to chane the port numbers like

outgoing port number from 995  to 465 &

 incommingport number from 465 to 995
