Hello,
i have a hp pavilion dv4000 and whenever i switch on my laptop it asks me for my password and it takes me to the restart page. Im wonder how i can make my comp stop asking me for my password so i can use the recovery disc.

Hi there,

Get in control panel,user accounts and select remove password.Enter password and it will no longer ask password to log in windows.
