these settings are preset by your service provider and will configure automatically have yo tried a battery pull to reset phone
go to option, select advance option, enter ur network APN:______, USERNAME:- i.e web,PASSWORD:- i.e, web, then go tru operamini for browaing, and activate e-mail with (enterprise activation) automatically on ur phone.

well there is no solution im afraid, i contacted o2 as like you i bought the phone unlocked it as im on o2. When i contacted them they said that the phone was not unlocked to internet and mms settings for o2 pay and go customers for another few months!
now you either sit and wait it out or get a different phone hope this helps
