No sound hdmi

Hello,
i have a sony vaio laptop and a samsung lcd tv when using windows vista i had no problem with sound or picture
but on upgading to windows 7 i have lost sound tried updates and unistalling and re-installing but still no sound.

Any help would be great

There is an extra sound function on the video chip to make the HDMI sound work. I assume you need a Wind 7 (of Vista) driver for this hardware.
