Hello,
I have bought a hp pavillion dv2762tx entertainment pc special edition in June, 2008.
but now it is showing six screens at the time of booting and also it got restarted every time. I can login from the safe mode, and from there i've disabled the nvidia graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS) and now i can login normally but with the same problem of multiscreens can anyone suggest me something. am a student and can't afford a high maintenence cost.

Hi, I too faced the same problem. I guess the mother board needs to be replaced. I was told that it is a graphic disorder and the only option for this is a replacement of the mother board.

Hello PVP

It would be less expensive to purchase a new computer than replacing the motherboard. Here, the graphic card is faulty, only change the graphic card.
