Hello,
I have an old laptop that I no longer use but the hard drive has a lot of data on it that is useful so I purchased a case for the hard drive and plugged it into my new laptop and the computer recognized the drive. The issue I am having is that the drive is partitioned and the partition that ran my old laptop is not accessable. The partition that did not run everything is accessable with no issues. All the important files are not accessable now. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Jon

Vista must be hiding your "drives" with system files on it. Find the setting to turn it off. I'll post more later. tired, sry.
