phone to idle(samsung sgh f480i) Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,
with the samsung sgh f480i after downloading the pc suite it does not connect the phone because it needs to be in idle mode, how do you do this?

i have one, all you need to do is make sure your on main screen of phone, then plug in cable, load program. when you look for your phone, make sure that your phone is not asleep. if it is, just press a button to wake it up. once you do that, you should have no problem connecting it to pc. p.s: i use vista also.

its a really weird program, you have to plug in your phone, open the program that came with the phone. make sure the phone is on and make sure that it is not locked and also not on the main menu. then try and search for it and then connect,

just change the phone profile to normal and it should work.

(menu --> settings --> phone profile --> normal)
