Hello,
My laptop went out of order. I used integral external enclosure to recover the data from the laptop's hard drive. I followed all the insturctions of the manual. The problem is when I enter to the enclosure drive through 'My Computer', I find two folders, one is Recovery other one is OS. When I check all the files of the Recovery folder, to my horror, I find all the files are empty. Have I lost my data? Please help me to recover my data. Thanks a lot.

You may be reading the recovery partition that the laptop manufacturer put on the hard drive. There should be another partition that has your data on it. If that partition has been damaged they you will not be able to view it. I suggest you use a partition recovery program like the free Easeus Partition Master:

It should have a Partition Recover option that might recover your data.
Good Luck
