If i upgrade itunes 9 will it erase my stuff?

well...itunes is having this thing were you can get free T.V shows, music vidios and other things.. soo i wanted to get this free T.V episode that i have never seen! But, than it said upgrade to new itunes, so i clicked upgrade but than i started to think if it is new itunes.... it mit erase all my stuff so i canceled the upgrading.
soo would it have erased all my old songs and videos????

No it won't erase your music and videos!

You can upgrade without any fear!

I upgraded to the latest version of itunes and after the download I had no library at all. It wiped 421 albums from my library!

it didn't do that with me. but do not worry, you can get them back.
