My printer is telling me to remove and check cartridges. I've done that and nothing works, I've tried to unplug it and still says it. it's stopping me from scanning and copying too.

i have a Hp psc 2110xi all in one
printer scanner and copier.

It won't turn off it had been one for five days so far since it would not turn off it's like its stuck or something.
