Computer not reading digital camera?

I plug my camera into my computer it makes a sound but nothing happens, and nothing shows up in "my computer." Any ideas on what could be wrong? I have installed the software, and it has worked before from this same camera! When I turn my camera off, the computer also makes a sound, so it seems like it is recognizing when I plug it in. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!ernet Explorer 7.0</config>

Dear Sezen,

You need to get its driver and software installed in order to get the webcam functioning properly.

I appreciate the time, but it's not a webcam, and I have used this software and camera before.
