i have purchased new Dell vostro 1014 laptop
i want to install xp on it
i have win xp bootable disk
but xp not installing
what should i do to install xp 32bit

Hi there,
You need to make changes in bios for which links below from Faq will guide you:
https://ccm.net/faq/2370-downgrade-from-windows-vista-to-xp-hdd-s-ata-not-recognized
http://ccm.net/faq/2667-moving-from-vista-to-xp
This is because you have sata hard drive and need to disable it in bios settings.
