                    Hi there,
You can also have the direct download links to the specific driver that you are missing by using the Driver detective application.
Thanks.

                    Hello,
I just reinstalled windows xp and i'm having trouble installing audio drivers for dell vostro A840. I get this message "driver installation failed: Could not find the

                    Hello,
You can download the driver from the manufacture website.
Click on the below link and follow the instructions.
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=WW1&catid=-1&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=VOS_N_1014&hidos=WLH&hidlang=en&TabIndex=&scanSupported=False&scanConsent=False
Note: Some devices may not function properly if the drivers are installed out of
order. For more information click on the below link.
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/downloads/en/driver_install_order?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~lt=print
So try installing the chipset drivers first and then audio drivers. If the problem
still exists, try updating your BIOS.
Good Luck.
