Hello Jane,
Hachimist is totally correct and wise in his warning! I personnaly ceased to use Limewire for it is a virus and pirate nest.
Always watch out for supposed free stuff on the net.

Limewire is a p2p program. . .
so your heard right limewire carries many virus and other malicious files but i personally use it.
so when your using it don't download any files lesser that 5kilobytes(exe,txt,inf)
And use a Anti-virus,Anti-spyware which i think you already have. . . .
any alternatives? i can tell you really want to download free movies.
then try torrents like uTorrent,Vuze its like limewire but more powerful
