Missing photos...confused

Hello, I took some great pictures over the past couple of days and was planning on putting them on facebook when I got home today. However, after I changed the batteries in my camera last night the camera said my memory card had an "error" and it would neither show the pictures I had taken nor allow me to take anymore pictures. And nothing looks to be wrong with the card When I plugged the memory card into my computer it wouldn't show the pictures either. I even tried a recovery software and it only re covered 33 out of the 100+ pictures I actually took. I need help recovering the missing pictures that I know are on there. Please help!
