Browser Not Connecting Closed

Question

My computer connects to the internet and Windows update works. Only firefox & IE8 cannot connect to a website. I turned off the firewall but that did not help anything.

Will be trying to update drivers next...Any other ideas?

The problem might be coming from the browsers, please consider trying with an alternative browser.

It was actually the second service pack from windows update that screwed up the browsers. I just uninstalled the update and all works normally.
