Hello Linda,
Is there a way in which I can get microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, publisher and quick books free and not as a trial? I would prefer the most recent version but the version prior to that would be great!!!!!

No, you can't. If you want Microsoft Office Pack, you have to purchase it.
But you can download and try OpenOffice.org Suite which is free, and compatible with all other major office suites.
