Hello, I am a total beginner at Excel and I (really) need a formula...
If you could (please) give me the formula for this, I could alter it myself to fit what I need...

If the word "yes" is in B5, the value is 1.5 for B5.
If the word "no" is in B5, the value is 1.
What is the formula for that?

In C5 you can write

=IF(B5="yes", 1.5, 1)
